diy : spray paint

This is a DIY I did right before moving out a couple of months ago. I was going to get rid of these random items, but instead I decided to try spray painting for the first time. Ever since I saw Kristina's project on her blog, I wanted to try gold spray. Thanks to my husband's help, now these almost-get-rid-of-things became my favorites in our place. You can see more details of  How to spray paint. * I sprayed white paint on the picture frame instead of gold.

Spray painting things is the bomb! I haven't done it for ages but I did black-japan the furniture in my room last time. I went overboard with it and now I hate the black but regardless it was an easy process (and cheap) in changing things up!

Hey, I can't see what kind of spray paint you used there. Can you give me a brand?

I've been using the best plasti kote paint we have in the UK but it all seems a bit gunky and gets very gummed up unless the item is perfectly dust-free (impossible in my house!)

Willing to import from the States to achieve these results, thanks!
